Carls & Sofia is an international piano competition held in Spain. The winning prize of the competition is the Gold Hands Prize. Each year, the competition pays tribute to the memory of legendary pianists. This year it was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Spanish pianist Alisa De La Roja. A special prize is also awarded for the best performance by a composer. The competition is included in the fund of the world-renowned music-information foundation Alink-Argerich Foundation.
