On April 13, at 7:30 PM, the "Towards Classical Eurovision" concert-competition took place at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall with the participation of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, artistic director and principal conductor Sergey Smbatyan.
The competition featured performances by 10 finalists, 4 of whom were scholarship recipients of the "Music for the Future" Foundation: Aida Avanesyan, Eduard Dayan, Lyana Ulikhanyan, and Hayk Hekekyan.
Our young musicians captured the hearts of dozens of spectators with their wonderful and impressive performances, and the winner of the competition was the foundation's scholarship holder, oboist Hayk Hekekyan.
We congratulate and wish success to our beloved Hayk, who we are sure will represent Armenia with honor at the "Young Musicians Eurovision" international contest to be held in Norway on August 17.
Violinist Eduard Dayan, a scholarship recipient of the Foundation, took 2nd place in the "Towards Classical Eurovision" concert-competition .
