The Foundation's young musicians visited the Komitas Pantheon, where famous cultural figures, as well as prominent public and political figures, are buried.
Then they visited the Museum-Institute of Armenian composer, singer, priest, ethnographer, and musicologist Komitas.
During the visit, the young musicians learned about Komitas' life and work, as well as his rich folklore heritage. With the help of the staff, they read excerpts from Komitas' manuscripts.
Here, Komitas Vardapet's personal belongings, certificates, excerpts from his musical notation during his years of studying at the Gevorgyan Seminary, books, paintings, sculptures, etc. were exhibited.
At the end, we heard Komitas' "Kakavik" beautifully performed by our youngest musician, Areni.
