Music became an integral part of my life: Robert Seyranyan

Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you first became interested in music?

I have been playing the violin since I was 6 years old. When my mother took me to a concert by Sergey Khachatryan, I really liked his playing, and from that day on, music interested me a lot and became an integral part of my life.

What do you like to do when you're not playing? Is there a hobby or activity that brings you joy? How do you like to relax after lessons or long practices?

I like to relax by listening to music. My hobbies are football and chess.

If I had magical powers, I would like to have the virtuosity of Paganini and Izay.

What are your goals and aspirations for the future as a young musician? Do you have any dream projects in mind?

To become a world-famous violinist, a winner of the most difficult competitions. To play a Stradivari or Guarneri violin, to conquer the best stages in the world and to represent my nation with honor all over the world.

Can you describe the role of the Music for the Future Foundation in your musical development and how it supports you?

My life has completely changed after becoming a scholarship holder of the “Music for the Future” Foundation. I have made many new friends.
