Music for the Future Foundation 2022/2023 Scholarship Recipients

"Music for the Future" 2022/2023 Educational and Development Program Competition

We are pleased to announce that the auditions and interview stages of the “Music for the Future” 2022/2023 educational and development program competition have been completed and summarized. A total of 53 applicants from Yerevan, Kotayk, Ararat, Aragatsotn, Shirak, Gegharkunik and Syunik regions applied to the program. 42 of the applicants participated in the second round of auditions, to listen to their performances, the international jury committee brought together renowned musicians: Gianluca Marciano (conductor), Miriam Prandi (cellist), Vahagn Papyan (conductor), Jazmin Choi (flutist), Hrachya Avanesyan (violinist).


We are happy to see these gifted children choosing classical music as their path in life, and we are grateful to the young musicians, their parents, schools, teachers, and accompanists for their interest in the program, their invaluable work in educating the children, and their success.


The following applicants who have passed the audition and interview stages are recognized as 2022/2023 Music for the Future Foundation scholarship recipients:

8. Eduard Gevorgyan (piano) - Yerevan P. Tchaikovsky Secondary Professional Music School

9. Artyom Avetisyan (trumpet) - V. Sargsyan Music School of Sevan community, Gegharkunik region

10. Victoria Petrosyan (flute) - Yerevan A. Tigranyan Music School

11. Mari Danielyan (piano) - Yerevan P. Tchaikovsky Secondary Professional Music School

12. Edgar Gasparyan (clarinet) - Yerevan A. Hekimyan Music School

13. Tigran Gasparyan (oboe) - Yerevan St. Jrbashyan Music School

14. Eduard Simonyan (piano) - Yerevan Secondary Music Vocational School named after P. Tchaikovsky
