Scholarship recipient Ovsanna Harutyunyan, "Rising Star"

Ovsanna Harutyunyan, a scholarship holder of the "Music for the Future" Cultural Foundation, was awarded the "Rising Star" special prize in the "violin" professional category at the Khachaturian International Jubilee Competition held in the Chinese capital Beijing.

The competition was organized for the first time in China, in cooperation with the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation, the National Opera House of China, and Chinese state institutions, and was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian.

It should be noted that Ovsanna studies at the Yerevan Tchaikovsky Secondary Music Vocational School, with teachers: Bagrat Sureni Vardanyan (head of the string department, professor), Astghik Vardanyan (concertmaster of the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia). We congratulate Ovsanna and wish her new achievements.
