Strive to be the first in everything. Tigran Gasparyan

- Can you tell me a little about yourself and how you first became interested in music?


-Since my mother was a musician, there was always music in our house. I started playing the oboe when I was 3-4 years old, and when I first heard the oboe solo from Khachaturian's Adagio, I decided to play that instrument.


-What do you like to do when you're not playing? Is there a hobby or activity that brings you joy? How do you like to relax after lessons or long practices?


-In my free time, I do sports. I love watching and playing football.


-Do you have a favorite motto or saying that inspires you on your life's journey?


-"Strive to be the first in everything." This motto plays a very big role in my life and provides quite a lot of motivation.

-If you had a magical power, what would it be and how would you use it?


-I would ensure the strength and security of my homeland.


-What are your goals and aspirations for the future as a young musician? Do you have any dream projects in mind?


-To become a high-class musician, perform on big stages, and enjoy playing my own music.


-Can you describe the role of the Music for the Future Foundation in your musical development, and how it supports you?


The foundation played a big role in my initial development. Thanks to them, I was able to perform on big stages, communicate with top musicians, receive a lot of useful advice, and of course, travel to Dubai in 2021 to participate in master classes and attend concerts with famous musicians.

-Is there a word or phrase that best describes your personality and why?

-Impatience.


-What characteristic of yours do you think has helped you achieve success in music and life?

-Hardwork: This is a trait of mine that I am very proud of. It helps me always move forward.


-Is there any book or movie that has had a significant impact on you or your perspective on life?

-Harry Potter: my favorite movie, where I appreciate their friendship the most.


-Are there certain values or principles that you consider important and that guide your actions and decisions?


-Patriotism, honesty, loyalty.


-What qualities do you value most in your friends and the people around you?


-In my circle, I value only honesty, which is very important to me.
