The final round of the Khachaturian International Youth Competition, organized by the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation, kicked off on November 1 at the National Opera House in Beijing, the capital of China.
At the opening ceremony of this prestigious competition, young cellist Marie Hakobyan, a scholarship holder of the Music for the Future Foundation, performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the National Opera House of China, marking the start of this important international competition.
The competition is held in the professional categories of "violin", "cello", and "piano", and is attended by talented young musicians from different countries of the world.
